Michelle Yao – A Design for Startups alum, Yao founded ECU Design Careers to bridge the gap between art & design education and the creative industry by connecting students to industry alumni. Established in 2020, the organization is run independently by ECUAD alumni. Together, they provide design students in a primarily Fine Art based school with various mentorship activities to build their early career development and networking.

League of Innovators (LOI) – LOI is a national Canadian charity that empowers young people to be their own bosses in life and career. LOI aims to bring youth out-of-the-box experiences that will build and sharpen their entrepreneurial skills. Building their confidence, empowering them to create and take charge of their future, and recognize the power that they hold as innovators and entrepreneurs in our ever-evolving economy. Ultimately our goal is to amplify the impact of future innovators and entrepreneurs while shortening their path to success.

LOI Labs is a free 12-week accelerator program empowering youth-led start-ups all across Canada.
