We connect not-for-profit organizations, companies, and community partners with world class faculty and the talent of Emily Carr students to take on projects that call for creative vision and cross-disciplinary problem-solving skills.

Our faculty and students have expertise in interaction and communication design, art and design-led entrepreneurship, branding, digital strategy, community engagement, social practice, city-building, public art, and many other specializations. Our design approach is human-centered, where researchers undertake an iterative process of user research, ideation, prototyping, and testing.
