Edward Madojemu is a Technical Artist with a specialty in XR. Raised in Nigeria, Edward immigrated to Vancouver, Canada, where his professional trajectory was marked by a series of notable roles. As FX Artist at Sony Pictures Imageworks, Edward contributed to the visual marvel of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse.” Independently, Edward directed the acclaimed “Mescaform Hill: The Missing Five,” an animated VR graphic novel that premiered at the Tribeca Festival in 2022, created in collaboration with Meta (formerly known as Facebook). Instilled with a passion for leveraging technology to empower creativity, Edward has dedicated his career to researching and developing innovative and practical applications of digital media, a goal he pursues as Technical Lead at Runtime Data. When he’s not doing that, he’s hard at work telling stories that highlight afrocentric perspectives.
