Elham is a fashion entrepreneur, product designer, artist and researcher focusing on material exploration and crafts. Years of working in field of fashion enabled her to clearly see the environmental and ethical challenges in the fashion system. Now, through her professional and research path she seeks to find sustainability by exploring natural-based materials, socio-ethical entrepreneurship and responsibility. Having an engineering background and a MA in Industrial Design, she has gained the experience of doing interdisciplinary research. She has presented papers at international conferences and her recent work is published in Journal of Packaging Technology and Research. In her MA in Industrial Design she specialized at gamification, child education and playful design. Elham is now pursuing a Masters of Design at Emily Carr University of Art and Design to further explore sustainable fashion.
