Liao Yi is a filmmaker and cinematographer, who is currently a senior student in Film + Screen Art major at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. He always focus on the aesthetics of film. He use different photographic languages to tell the stories. The camera is his emotional expression of the world, he trying to find dramatic moments in the visual arts.

 

He is also interested in industrial heritage, who trying to find those forgotten buildings. He is committed to the investigation and image collection of industrial heritage.
