Ruby is a visual art student who works in printmaking, bookmaking, and collage. She is interested in intuitive ways of creating, especially through collage and poetry. As lifelong sewer and textile lover, she is always looking for ways to bring more textile work into her practice. This led her to Fibershed field school where she participated in the Warping and Weaving cohort. Ruby has never made a quilt but there are lots of quilts waiting in her head. She is inspired by paper, the journey threads make, and the way light comes through blinds.
