Victoria Korina

Research Assistant,  Shumka x Buffalo Buffalo

Victoria Korina is a 3D animator and recent graduate of Emily Carr University of Art + Design, where she specialized in character-driven storytelling and stylized 3D animation. With a background in drawing and painting, she brings a strong visual sensibility to her work, blending traditional art foundations with digital expression.

Her practice centers on creating emotionally resonant, stylized worlds that balance the bizarre with the deeply human. She’s especially drawn to expressive character performance, lip-sync, and stories that exist in the space between sincerity and surreal humor. Beyond the conventions of 3D animation, Victoria is passionate about exploring alternative storytelling methods and the creative intersections of art and technology, always seeking new ways to push narrative boundaries.

Based in Vancouver, Victoria is excited to grow as a character animator and collaborate in studio environments that value heart, experimentation, and meaningful storytelling.

Outside of animation, she enjoys doodling in the sun, catching local music shows, and hitting the badminton courts.
