Wei (she/her) is an interaction designer and teaching assistant living in Vancouver, Canada. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. She has a General Art Associate Degree from Langara College, where she developed skills in researching human behaviors by handling data and analytics. She focuses on creating user-centered interfaces and experiences on digital media like mobile devices, Arduino microcontroller boards, and VR headsets.
Her research and design explore the relationship between humans and other-than-human beings within a region, prioritizing the local culture, businesses, and natural environment. She uses her over 4-year service and education experience as the foundation for her user research projects. She participated in a community service project in Vancouver South (2021) by designing posters and pamphlets for multicultural seniors. Wei likes to hang out with birds and trees with her camera while away from the concretes.
