TOAF x Emily Carr

TOAF x Emily Carr is a new partnership between Toronto Outdoor Art Fair and the Audain Faculty of Art, Jake Kerr Faculty of Graduate Studies facilitated by the Career Development + Work Integrated Learning and the Shumka Centre to showcase and elevate works of ECU’s Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts students.

Launched in recognition of ECU100 and TOAF65, this partnership creates a national platform for emerging ECU artists to present their work through one of Canada’s largest and longest-running outdoor art fairs.

Nine students will be selected to participate in this landmark year, with opportunities to exhibit either in person at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto or through TOAF’s online fair. Four students—two BFA and two MFA—will take part in the in-person fair, taking place July 10–12, 2026. These participants will receive a travel bursary of up to $1,500, a 10’ x 10’ booth with tent and equipment, overnight storage, and an online shop active from July 2026 to March 2027. Five additional BFA and MFA students will participate in the online-only fair, with online shops active over the same period.
