In collaboration with Ron Burnett Library + Learning Commons, we have developed a repository for digital and print resources for emerging artists and designers. The list is maintained in a way that allows content to evolve and stay current for the Emily Carr Community and the public.

Here you can find online resources, books and print materials that offer toolkits, templates, context and advice to maintain or grow your practice.

Library Access

Not currently enrolled/employed at Emily Carr? Emily Carr University Library offers the following membership programs:

• Emily Carr alumni can receive a Community Borrower Card at no cost, simply by presenting their identification at the circulation desk.
• Continuing Studies students, Retired Faculty + Staff can receive a Community Borrower Card at no cost, by presenting their identification, proof of enrollment (for Continuing Studies students) and proof of address (for Retired Faculty + Staff) at the circulation desk.
• Students and staff from other public colleges and universities in BC can also receive a Community Borrower Card at no cost by presenting their post-secondary ID that includes an enrollment date (or an adequate proof of enrollment) and proof of current address at the circulation desk.
• General public can purchase a Community Borrower Card for $30 for 6 months of borrowing at the circulation desk.

With the Community Borrower Card, library patrons can borrow up to 25 books at a time for three weeks and renew up to 2 times. For more information, visit Community Borrowing.
