Satellite Residency

Satellite is a residency program developed to support emerging artists and designers as they work to actualize self-directed projects.

The intent of the program is to help emerging artists and designers bridge the transition from being a student to being an independent practitioner, which includes developing a network of collaborators and/or clients, developing administrative capacity and seeking contexts and resources to support an on-going practice.

Satellite is generously funded by the Vancouver Foundation (2020 – 2021), the Association for Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning (2020 – 2021) , and the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training (2020 – 2022).
