Design for Startups
Spring 2024
Over the course of 12 weeks, nine student designers will work directly with the technical and business leads of nine companies to explore and develop a new methodology for connecting design to Internet startups as part of Design for Startups.
Student designers will consider existing design gaps, perform user interface/usability studies, and develop design strategies for the companies in residence.

Adwow is an AI enabled end-to-end marketing/advertising platform, essentially a Digital Marketing Assistant in your back pocket.
Rita (Honghuan) Wang will work with Adwow.
Airble is a charter aviation marketplace that provides passengers with exclusive travel options for private or shared flights, air tours, and empty-leg deals for both business and leisure travel. Airble connects air operators and their fleet to passengers who want alternatives to commercial travel or want to explore their own backyard through an air tour experience. The Airble marketplace is a single-commit platform that automates the charter flight planning and booking processes for users and service providers.
Cailine Keirstead will work with Airble.
Ascinta Technologies is commercializing a web-based platform and an application ecosystem for quantitative analysis and interpretation of medical images in research, clinical trials, and routine clinical care. Through the Ascinta Module store, a variety of AI-enabled apps from Ascinta and third-party developers can be obtained for different medical conditions and imaging modalities. The platform can be used to run custom code and automate complex workflows. In addition, Ascinta provides cutting-edge image analysis services for dosimetry and personalized medicine applications.
Lody Gwon will work with Ascinta Technologies.

Jessica Cole will work with CreativeFlow.
enjoi drives diversity and equity for innovation by supporting leaders with participatory educational learning adventures. We are building a VR/AR-assisted immersive DEI game platform in 4 languages to support leaders education in companies and universities in the APAC and North American markets.
Violet Zhang will work with enjoi.
Intelligent Project Solutions (IPS iEng AI Engineering Digital Data Platform) manages the life circle of engineering and operation data from operation, engineering, construction, to maintenance and upgrades. AI engines digitize engineering and operation drawings and documents, structure and contextualize data into a digital data warehouse.
Alex Dabecki will work with Intelligent Project Solutions.
MergeBase is focused on securing the software supply chain. MergeBase provides and application security solution that performs Software Composition Analysis and provides guidance to address security vulnerabilities.
Faizaan Siddiqui will work with MergeBase.
Rocketbrew is an all in one competitive analytics solution. Our SaaS platform unlocks $12B of black box ecommerce data. We equip brands with the power to travel back in time and break down competitive strategies so they can be armed for the future. We are engaging with leading brands like Native and Dr.Squatch to reimagine the commerce tools of tomorrow.
Neha Adinamozhi will work with Rocketbrew.
Vaster, born from personal experiences, simplifies access to crucial information about consumer products using AI. Our app empowers consumers and supports licensed producers and educate in educating their customers. With a planned Q4 2023 release, we’re set to revolutionize consumer product interactions. Our AI-powered solutions aim to empower individuals to live healthier lives.
Joshita Nagaraj will work with Vaster.
